So far, the sounds are fantastic, as usual. You could spend $50 on one such instrument at Soniccouture or another of those sample sites, and here you have over fifty to play with! Keep it coming at such reasonable prices! The point is, this is sampler quality, not just synth patches.

I was one of the early buyers and I just downloaded the set and have been playing with it all afternoon. This is another fantastic set that defies a simple description, so many of the presets do not at all seem evocative of strings - warped, mangled or otherwise. My own preferences for the bizarre have a feast in this batch, but for those who prefer more instrumental sounds there are plenty. And just a small nudge of the variations pads yields an unearthly modification.

This is excellent work, quality stuff!! In fact well above the level of many other commercial offerings for Alchemy, and the price is very fair.

WARPED STRINGS is one bloody amazing bank...It sounds pristine, you can "feel" the time that went into the sound design, it inspires creativity and playing, and I just love the combination of acoustic string sources with the various types of sound manipulation Simon does.

I have barely touched the surface of Warped Strings yet and what I've heard is absolutely fantastic! Stunning, innovative and very touching sounds that still leave room for other instruments in a composition - a great combination!

A superbly designed set of sounds for one of the very best virtual synths out there... This sound bank exudes great attention to detail, subtlety and warmth. All the sounds use the various modulation possibilities within Alchemy very effectively and creatively....each patch has so many ways you can develop and change it to suit your needs. Possibly more than anything else, the sounds here are very 'useable' in a wide variety of musical genres. Highly recommended.
